JO1、『GMO SONIC 2023』2日目に登場。初のフェス出演で圧巻のパフォーマンス

JO1が、さいたまスーパーアリーナで開催された大型音楽フェスティバル『GMO SONIC 2023』に出演。本稿ではそのオフィシャルレポートを掲載する。 JO1は2日目に登場し、初披露の新曲「We Good」を含む全7曲で圧巻のパフォーマンスを披露した。人生初のフェス参加となった川尻蓮は、「初めてなので、フェスの楽しみ方、盛り上がり方を皆さん教えてください！」と煽り、普段とは違うフェスの雰囲気を楽しんでいた。 洗練されたイントロが流れ出すと1曲目に始まったのは「Born To Be Wild」。河野純喜のパワフルで突き抜けるようなボーカルから勢いよく幕を開け、自身のライブでも盛り上がるこの楽曲で会場の温度を一気にヒートアップさせたまま、間髪を入れず「Rose」を歌唱。薔薇の花のように真っ赤に染まった鋭いライトの中、一糸乱れぬシンクロダンスが美しくしなやかに浮かび上がる。
