鏡開き•稽古始
2023年の稽古始めで新しい年に向けての挨拶をしました。砂川道院の初期の頃、まだ北海道少林寺拳法連盟の大会がまだなかった頃、空知が先んじて大会を実施した。当時は、岩見沢、夕張、滝川、砂川、歌志内、上砂川町に拳士がいる状態でした。第１回空知大会を岩見沢体育館で実施した。この時仙台から太田先生をお招きし開催された。太田先生が片手投の技法を確か披露された記憶がある。この写真に写っているのは、小坂拳士、浅井拳士の二人。そして後に本山勤務した鈴木仁拳士も砂川から参加していた。また昨年３０数年振りに砂川道院に夫婦で帯広から来てくれた遠藤拳士は当時ブルースリーの影響で砂川南高校で初めて少林寺拳法の披露を、北大の野坂拳士、塚田拳士に手伝ってもらったのだが、その技法披露したのを見て入門してきた。遠藤君はその後澤田利彦先生の道院にお世話になったことを澤田先生とも話したことがある。
この空知大会の第２回目目を滝川文化センターで、中野益臣先生、水澤春夫先生をお招きし開催された。この時、阿寒から高校生が参加し棒術を披露したのを記憶している。中野益臣先生は技法解説で鉤手についてのみ話された。私は水澤先生の孫弟子であった。この大会には、西内一連盟理事長、片桐 義雄先生に来ていただいた。
この大会を観客として砂川市から鈴木聖一という青年が見ていた。そして少林寺拳法の道に入った。
私はこの大会の前日、自宅で少林寺拳法式で結婚式を挙げた。
この空知大会は更に上川空知大会として拡大して行き、北海道少林寺拳法大会に発展していったのである。
年頭の挨拶では更に少林寺拳法の飛足刀蹴について、最も美しい山﨑先生の空中姿勢に近づくことであることを力説した。
嵩山少林寺の白衣殿の生写真を直接1978年に撮影してきたのを持っているが、それについて説明した。

In the early days of Sunagawa Doin, when the Hokkaido Shorinji Kempo Federation had not yet held a tournament, Sorachi took the lead. At that time, there were kenshi in Iwamizawa, Yubari, Takikawa, Sunagawa, Utashinai, and Kamisunagawa. The 1st Sorachi Tournament was held at Iwamizawa Gymnasium. At this time, Sensei Ota was invited from Sendai and held. I remember Sensei Ota demonstrating the technique of katate nage(one-handed throwing). The two people in this photo are Kenshi Kosaka and Kenshi Asai. Jin Suzuki, who later worked at the honzan, also participated from Sunagawa. Also, Kenshi Endo, who came to Sunagawa Doin with his wife from Obihiro last year for the first time in over 30 years, performed Shorinji Kempo for the first time at Sunagawa Minami High School under the influence of Bruce Lee at the time, and Kenshi Nosaka and Kenshi Tsukada from Hokkaido University. I was asked to help me, but when I saw the technique being demonstrated, I became a disciple. After that, Mr. Endo talked with Mr. Sawada that he was taken care of by Mr. Toshihiko Sawada’s Doin.There is. the 2nd Sorachi Tournament was held at the Takikawa Cultural Center, inviting Mr. Masuomi Nakano and Mr. Haruo Mizusawa. At this time, I remember high school students from Akan participating and performing bōjutsu. Sensei Masuomi Nakano only talked about kagite in his technical explanation. I was a grandson of Sensei Mizusawa. Mr. Yoshio Katagiri, chairman of the Nishiuchi Hajime Federation, came to this tournament. A young man named Seiichi Suzuki from Sunagawa city was watching this tournament as a spectator. And he entered the path of Shorinji Kempo. The day before this tournament, I had a Shorinji Kempo wedding ceremony at my home. This Sorachi Tournament further expanded as the Kamikawa Sorachi Tournament and developed into the Hokkaido Shorinji Kempo Tournament. In my New Year’s address, he emphasized that the tobisnkuto geri(flying foot kick) of Shorinji Kempo is to approach the most beautiful aerial posture of Yamazaki Sensei. I have a photo of the byakueden(White Coat Hall) of Songshan Shaolin Temple that I took directly in 1978, and I explained about it.
