This 1990 film is based on the book Goodbye Tsugumi by Banana Yoshimoto and directed by Jun Ichikawa.

The film is very well done, quiet and simple (on the surface), but deeply heartfelt and moving. The performances were beautifully nuanced and felt very real to me. I would like to thank the novelist, the director, the screenwriter, and the cast and crew for putting together such a sweet and touching film. Special thanks to Mr. Sanada, for the inspiration to create these pictures and videos!

『つぐみ』は見た事が無かったです。牧瀬里穂さんと共演していたんですね。
真田さんの隣にいた年上の男性ですが、チューリップの財津和夫さんも出ていたんですね。知らなかったです。
