I don't know about you, but that miso soup looks delicious, even if the daikon wasn't exposed to a gentle breeze.

here if you expose your daikon to a gentle breeze it'll turn gray from soot xD
oh that seems so cruel to have the counter too low for him. 🙁 but i guess stoves are not too easily raised and floors probably can't have a trench dug into it. would it look too bad if he were sitting at the stove? it's probably not a good posture for cutting and maybe dangerous to sit near hot ingredients in case they splash. i recall there was a show where the chef sat, but he was very big. oh! i know, he could use those kneeling chairs! i think they give you a straight vertical posture but you can rest your shins on the soft bar
