The 2024 US Open main draw runs from August 26 – September 8 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 144th time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and United States’ Coco Gauff claimed the men’s and women’s singles titles. It was Djokovic’s 24th Grand Slam title and Gauff’s first Grand Slam title. If I were Osaka's coach, I'd work on her net game.
She seems perfectly content to try hit winners from the baseline.
There were several crucial points where she was one point away from a game and she just stood on the baseline instead of coming in to volley away floaters from Muchova.
That 5-4 lead second set Osaka had was crucial and she lost the game and the match.
Had they gone into a third set it was anybody's match.
Osaka needs to add more elements to her game or she needs to find a new coach
I'm seriously impressed by Muchovas play here than by anyone in this entire tournament. There have been some awesome matches! But she's outstanding even still.

You can never get bored with a player like Karolina. She plays at the baseline, at the net… She volleys incredibly. At present, she may be the most complete female tennis player.
