1月に大きな反響を呼んだジャニーズの話題が2つある。なにわ男子・道枝駿佑の韓国での映画舞台挨拶と、Snow Man・ラウールの『パリ・コレクション』出演だ。
道枝の舞台挨拶は、福本莉子とのW主演映画『今夜、世界からこの恋が消えても』が韓国で大ヒットしたことを受けて行われた。現地では一部のファンから韓国語で「おかしくなりそう、狂いそう」という意味の言葉である「ミチゲッタ」と道枝の苗字をかけて「ミチゲッタシュンスケ」と呼ばれるなど、熱狂的な盛り上がりを見せた。また、韓国に並んで道枝のファンが多い中国でも彼の渡韓が取り上げられ、さらなる話題を呼んでいる。 ラウールは、Yohji Yamamotoが1月に『パリ・コレクション』で発表した『Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME A/W 2023-24 COLLECTION』に出演。オーディションに合格し、昨年6月に初めて『パリ・コレクション』に参加した際は、東京からデジタル配信での出演だった。今回はラウール自身がパリに赴き、現地でのランウェイを堂々と飾った。
